If I had the power to love you the same way you say you love me,
If I could feel the same passion you say you feel when you are with me,
If I could touch you the same way you touch my body,
I could be able to say I am in love with you…

When the breeze passes by you and me and you say you feel the power,
When the moon comes out in a night that is not the time,
And you say is your love’s that made her shine that night,
I can only tell in silence, I can’t love you the way you say you do…

I can be with you and share some kisses,
I can hold your hand and say things you want to hear,
But my heart is chanting clearly and loudly,
That my love belongs to someone else…

One day will come to let you read those signs,
And when you say goodbye I would say I did not lie to you,
I would tell you I was happy to see where we might go hand by hand,
But my heart was pondering to be with her…

If I had the power to say I am sorry,
For not being able to love you say you love me,
I would say it once, twice or as many times,
That I had no power to say I love you…

Lo más cercano que puedo tener a la homosexualidad es un sobrino y aparentemente unos cuantos primos que no me consta, ni me interesa hacerlo. Pero abogo por la causa de una igualdad que bajo una constitución de cualquier país, debe concedérsele a esta minoría. Recuerdo cuando mi mamá me comentó lo de mi sobrino. Una vez me llamó por teléfono y me dijo que la fuera a buscar al doctor porque alguien - que se suponía iba a recogerla - tuvo una discusión y no la fue a buscar.
