A knock at the door’s heart ©
Ben Bustillo – Prohibited its reproduction
I hear a sound passing by,
It peeks to see if I am still around,
Sometimes is strong but many is not,
I close my ears, and let it go…
I hear its scream loudly say,
It’s me, you fool, open up,
No, I say to myself, not even one more time.
It’s easy to see inside your eyes,
To move slowly my lips towards yours,
Caress your hair and hands together,
Why do I dare to say no again?
There is a silence around,
The walk is smooth and hardly perceived,
I hide from you and sneak throughout,
Don’t want to see you or do I?
Doubts eating my flesh,
Spirit and passion melt about you,
Close my eyes to see you with me,
But again I awake fleeing away.
Oh love that always seeks for me,
Oh love, that I always forbid,
I want you and I don’t
Close the doors of my so beat heart…
